We always see cute, small plants at stores and wonder hmmm can I actually take care of any of these plants? You take one of them home not knowing that you brought home one of the biggest drama queens of the century and it dies. What's worse is that tags can also be misleading; they say "beginner friendly", but you quickly find out that it's not. So, if you're wondering "what plants can I actually buy that are beginner friendly and super cute?", then you've come to the right place.
I may be a little biased, but I personally feel like succulents are easier to care for than a lot of the other varieties of household plants. Especially if you're someone who always forgets to water your plants. Many succulents thrive off of neglect and only need to be water once every two weeks to once a month depending on how fast the soil dries. So here are my top picks of beginner friendly succulents:
Jade Plant (Crassula Ovata)

African Milk Tree (Euphorbia Trigona)

Aloe Vera
